My Story
As I sit here with peace in my heart, and excitement in my bones,
I reflect,
On all the years I spent in neglect
Hating myself over other people’s perspectives
Tainted by their own objectives
Betrayals left wounds that zapped me of my confidence
I was lost, hurting, and seeking for some sort of consciousness
I grasped on to something, somewhere, someone
save me
tell me who I am
I don’t know who I am
I think I might drown in this uncertainty
But you see,
I am not the victim of my life
I have been carved by a freshly sharpened knife
The universe removed anything I put my worth into,
To remind me of where it really lies
In the safety of my own minds eye
When I remembered that I get to decide
This opportunity to walk by your side
Became my life raft,
My spacecraft
To explore experiential potential
The depth, the empathy, the authentic expression
What an honor to witness and be witnessed in each seat of a session​
